Veristeel® patented VeriClad™composite structural panels are a replacement for structural sub-floors and roof truss systems in portable classrooms, modular classrooms, mobile offices, modular buildings, dealer fleet units, military buildings, disaster relief, modular housing, and manufactured housing. Our panels are designed to provide customers with a superior, steel-faced structural platform at a very light weight (under 5 lbs per ft2), and in many cases at a lower overall installed cost per square foot.
VeriClad™ panels are produced on a just-in-time basis to customer specifications, and they are designed to be rapidly installed in a production environment. The panels consist of a lightweight structural core sandwiched between two galvanized, light gauge steel sheets. The panels are 4’ wide, 4” thick, and are available in lengths of 6’ to 24’ in 1/16ths inch increments.
The core is bonded to the steel skins by a one-part urethane adhesive. Different core substrate materials are available for different structural and thermal requirements. The sides of the panel are enclosed by a rectangular, roll-formed light gauge steel frame with a patented tongue-and-groove, inter-connecting profile on each long side of the panel for rapid, lay-in-place connections between the panels.
Commonly used underlayments, insulation, thermal barriers, and sheathing can be applied directly to the steel “skin” of the panels. Permitted penetrations for MPEs can be made directly through the panels.
